Kids & Juniors Membership Price Update

Dear Parent/Guardian

Core Combat Sports has grown a lot over the last few years, and we’re genuinely grateful to every family that has supported us and trusted us with their child’s training.

We’ve always been proud to keep our memberships cheaper than many local martial arts clubs while providing the best coaching and training facility we can.

As the club has grown, we now need to register for VAT, meaning part of every membership payment must be paid to HMRC instead of staying within the club. Our business rates, insurance, taxes, coaching costs and other running expenses have also continued to rise.

We’ve worked hard to absorb these costs and avoid increasing prices, but we can no longer maintain our current rates without affecting the quality of our coaching and classes. We therefore need to bring our prices more closely in line with comparable local clubs.

New monthly prices from 1 August 2026

• Kids, ages 7–10: £24.99 to £34.99

• Juniors, ages 11–16: £34.99 to £44.99

• Advanced Juniors, ages 14–16: £44.99 to £54.99

Your June and July payments will stay the same. The new price will apply from your August Direct Debit.

Our Promise We promise to continue providing structured MMA and Muay Thai training with experienced coaches who genuinely care about helping every child improve.

We’ll continue creating a safe and supportive environment where young people can develop fitness, confidence, discipline, focus, resilience, teamwork and social skills. Training will remain a positive way for them to stay active, spend less time on screens and become part of a strong team.

Where necessary, we’ll control or cap membership numbers so classes don’t become overcrowded and students receive the attention they need. We’ll also continue offering interclubs, shows and a clear pathway for those who want to compete.

A Difficult but Necessary Decision

We genuinely didn’t want to increase our prices and have done everything we reasonably can to avoid it.

We understand that an extra £10 per month may be difficult for some families. Please speak to us privately if you’re concerned and we’ll listen and do what we reasonably can to help.
